Spring weather on Topsail Island conjures up images of comfortable temperatures, low humidity, vibrant colors and idyllic conditions all around. Topsail Island sunrises and sunsets are a sight to behold any time of year, but the coastal palette is particularly stunning when the humidity isn't around to mute the colors. So, we advise taking every opportunity to catch a coast sunrise and sunset. Every day is a different color show. Don't forget to bring your camera and a great cup of coffee!

Topsail offers plenty of places to enjoy the views. Surf City offers three public parks for your visiting pleasure. Soundside Park is located right near the historic Swing Bridge and is home to many of the island's family-friendly special events and activities. It also offers lovely picnic facilities, a playground, as well as public boating and fishing opportunities. Nelva R. Albury Park and Kenneth D. Batts Family Park are located nearby. The park in North Topsail Beach offers a playground, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball, horseshoe pits, and picnic facilities.

There are 3 public parks in Surf City. One is at the Surf City swing bridge that offers picnic areas, a playground, fishing & public boating facilities. The second park is located .6 miles south of the Surf City traffic light on S. Topsail Drive. It offers a playground, picnic areas & a basketball court. The last one is located approximately 2 miles north of the Surf City traffic light on N. New River Drive. It offers a playground. The one park in North Topsail Beach, located 10 miles north of the Surf city traffic light offers a playground, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball, horseshoe pits and picnic areas.
